We felt right at home from the meet and greet on. Molly’s mum was great. Good humoured and witty. The room was clean and comfortable and with plenty of space for our daughter and her husband to come round in the evening for cards. Lots of equipment in the kitchen including things, kitchen paper, that we haven’t found before on our travels. A really simple outside area to sit and chill and with great views of the mountains at no extra cost! Plenty of good spaced parking. The bed was comfy. The a/c excellent and simple to use. The bathroom? Functional. Lots of things nearby, including super market, restaurants, and the waterfront. We enjoyed the Thai, Italian by the supermarket, and the Fat Duck. All easy walking away. Molly’s mum even came up with a UK toothbrush charger adaptor.

Good location. The kitchen includes an oven and a full-scale stovetop. Umbrellas available. Washing machine and drier available (extra charge). Friendly hosts.

perfect location for our planned day trips and activities. clean and comfortable room, kitchenette had more that I needed, but was just there for I think 2 nights? would have been perfect for few more days. easy to use heating/cooling unit, never watched TV so unsure how it was. Staff very helpful!

Irene was absolutely amazing and shared tips with us on where to visit. Super friendly and helpful. The room was great it had all the facilities we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location is a 2 minute drive to the town centre where there are lovely restaurants, supermarkets and the other essential places. Great location to stay if you want to drive to milford sound and the glow worm tour start point just 4 mins away.

Good property. Well located, clean and comfortable. Our room had cooking facilities if required and a guest laundry which was a great facility for those on the move. The property is surrounded by lovely gardens. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They had the sweetest little dog who really made us smile. Would have been nice to have options for viewing other than local tv but all things considered a nice place to stay

This motel, located at 10 mins-walk from town center, offers cozy and fully-functional cottage for a family up to 7 people, serving the common household needs such as cooking and washing. The washing machine plus dryer combination is extremely useful for multi-day tour. Finally, the receptionist is extremely considerate as she stayed until 9:00 PM, well beyond normal business hours, to hand over the room to us.

Aden Motel is located at a very convenient location: close the supermarket, petrol station and restaurants, while being tucked away on a quiet street. It was amazing to soak in the sight of the snowy mountains when you drive out of the motel. The room is clean and Irene was very helpful when we arrived. It is a great place to stay if you wish to find a location to stay before you head off to Milford Sound or Kepler Track.

Great location for exploring Fiordland, and makes for an ideal base to drive to Milford Sound for a boat cruise. Motel was quiet and spacious, great shower (water pressure), and the kitchenette, although basic, will be enough for cooking a few meals.

Aden hotel What a great choice for our 2 night stay for the purpose of visiting Milford sound. David and Irene could not have been more pleasant, helpful and informative Parking for your car was right outside your apartment, which were named after local bird species The apartment itself was comfortable, with a good sized bathroom great shower and a well equipped kitchen The gardens in the grounds were looking well even though they had subject to a lot of rain and it has a herb garden for you to use. The centre of town itself was about a 15 minute walk via a walkway also the lakefront a 5 minute walk could also be accessed through a lane. Our next port of call was Invercargill and Irene gave us a great brochure with details of places to visit and stops on the way. You won’t go wrong if staying here!
